My name is Dustin Davis. I am a computer programmer and nerdy dork in general. Basically I am Red Seam, Inc. My wife is my partner. I can't say she understands what all I do, but she tries. I continually bounce ideas off of her and she is basically my time manager - she lets me know if I'm spending too much time on the computer. I also employ friends and other freelancers for many of my projects, so I'm not totally alone in this endeavor. I may at some point list others who often do work for me as part of this team if they want me to.
While struggling to come up with a company name that I liked and also had an available .com I could register, I was staring at a baseball sitting on my desk. It was a home run ball from a while back. I picked it up and stared at it... RED SEAM, that's it. The .com was available, but I decided to sleep on it. The next day I went to register it and it was taken! Fortunately for me, nothing was ever done with it. I did something I rarely do and put it on back order at GoDaddy. After one year, it was mine!
